Epic steelhead trip!

Post by primetime » Wed Apr 16, 2014 8:09 pm

My buddy and I took a two day trip to Forks with Danny AKA fishenfreak. I make sure to make at least one trip a year with him. He never seems to disappoint. This trip was no different. We caught 20 steelhead over two days and had plenty other hook ups. We even managed to hit 3 wild ghosts out of a hole Mike Z went through. When you do that you know your being productive. Conditions were ok. Water levels were low and clear and we were battling the bright sun. Crazy since Forks seems to always be cloudy or is raining. It was a great few days. Don't sleep on those late April steelhead.

What river did you hit?

I was going to fish the Sol Duc with last weekend with all the sun, but my buddy bailed on me to go sailing. Not Cool!
