Re: humpy derby
Biggest fish was 8.8 pounds. Or somewhere around 8. Some cool prizes given out too, like oneshot's lifetime access to Douglas Bar. But just about every where was a zoo for bank fishing. We were at Bob Heirman Park at 5:45 am and the parking lot was filled to the brim. Fish were everywhere but they were still uncooperative. My friend and I managed 3/6 mostly on dick nites before heading to Rotary Park. It was a great experience and we will be doing this again in 2015!

You can get to Thomas's eddy with a prop as long as its not low tide. Stay in the channel to your left heading up. That's my usual weekday routine when I don't have time to float a long float. I was going to go this morning but am sitting up right now with a fever and and cold sweats, I think its from touching too many humpies, may have to head upriver to purify my self
