Snohomish River this time of year?

I realize a lot of the action is up the sky right now however all the fish come through the Snohomish right? Just curious if fishing the Snohomish starting tomorrow when It opens would be decent this time of year for chinook or steelhead or am I wasting my time down there. Just had my first born so don't have as much time as I use to and would prefer to stay closer to home if I can help it rather than driving all the way up to Reiter.

I have access to Douglas so was wondering if could plunk and have success around this time.

I usually pull a couple out at the bar every year. Usually just after high tide the bite comes on for a couple hours. Remember the Snohomish is closed to chinook fishing

It's not necessarily a waste of time but it will only be open to retention of steelhead. And they are on a mission to the hatchery. The confluence of the sky/snoqualmie up to Lewis street will be as close as you could get to home for catching both.

Yup, too bad the Sno isn't open for Nooks, for me anyway. With my prop boat, not possible to use it in the Sky. I'm not sure why the Sno doesn't open for Nooks. There are some Sno spots on an out tide with a nice Kwikfish it would be very possible to get some.

There are some killer king holes on the upper Snohomish that you just know have kings stacked in them right now. I think they dont open it because they dont want the natives heading up the Snoqualmie gettin harassed.
