Just got my first AND second bobber and egg kings! One Jack and one about 18ish pounds! That is all. Carry on. [thumbsup]

Next question. Im sure it is like sharing your favorite fishing hole, but what are some great effective brine recipes? I picked up some Borax o fire and have some eggs curing in that, but what are some good ones?

Do you use any sulfite for eggs specifically for salmon? As a general rule I thought sulfite based for salmon and borax for steel. Do you use the above for everything and cater the scent?

I'll be playing around with homemade cures this season. Was reading one guys recipe that included powdered milk. Said the protein drives them nuts...anyone else use powdered milk?
