I guess this is kind of a re-post as a search showed someone mentioned this in the off-topic section. They did not have a link to the article itself though. I also figured people visiting the River section of the forum would find it a good read

Sturgeon Ball from Oregon Paper

To summarize, last Feb they found that thousands and thousands of sturgeon were pilled up together just below the Dam. Not that there is not a good number of fish there year round, but this showed up on their sonar as possible debris from the dam so they investigated with a underwater camera. The beginning of the video shows a sturgeon clinging close to what I thought was a large boulder at first, but turns out to be just the head of a monster "peeler" sturgeon.

Very interesting, it makes you wonder just what the hell they're doing. Thanks for sharing.

I SEEN THAT IN THE PAPER A WHILE BACK AND THERE WAS A WEBSITE AND I SEEN THAT AND I AM CONVINCE THAT THEY BALL UP LIKE THAT TO DEFEND THEMSELFS FROM THOSE DAM SEALION.......CUZ THEY HAD SAID SOMETHING LIKE THEY WERE SPAWNING.........BUT I THJOUGHT IT WAS KINDA WERIOD FOR THEM TO HAVE 60,000 STURGEO ORGY
