Washington Sportsman Show!
Washington Sportsman Show & Sport Fishing Boat Show - Puyallup Fair & Events Center!
It was good to see so many of you yesterday at the "show"! The gate volume was much higher than anticipated for the opening day of the show. We are all hoping that this trend will continue on and that 2009 will be a fantastic year for all!
We have 18 Volunteers this year, rotating through our booth, who would love to talk "muskie" with you.
Stop by the booth and say "hi!". We are located in the Expo Hall again this year and we would really like to meet with you.
We will be selling raffle tickets to help support our Local Chapter 57 and the muskie fishery here in Washington State.
$1.00 will buy you a chance at the Grand Prize of a $500.00 Gift Certificate from Sportsman's Warehouse!
We will also be taking registrations for our "Tiger Muskie School" this April featuring the legendary Mr. Larry Ramsell of Hayward Wisconsin fame. Mr. Ramsell is a Past President of Muskies, Inc., Pro Musky Guide, Published Author, Muskie Historian, and a World Class Muskie Angler!
Wishing you all the best in 2009!

10-4..."Anyfish"!!!
The tiger is truly a great sport fish.
This year we will be seeing some of those "tigers" in the 50 inch plus range out here in Washington. This is at least partially due to the "Catch and Release"...or now as we refer to it as the "C-P-R" philosophy originally created by the founding members of Muskies, Inc. way back in the mid-sixties! All of us working together can keep this fantastic fishery going.
It was good once again to see everyone yesterday and to know that the interest in this this fish is "alive and well". Thanks for stopping by the booth over in the Expo Hall. It is always good to see old friends and make new ones!
Many of you have expressed a strong interest in this fish and also in the "Muskie School". The school will be on April 4th, 2009 featuring our Special Guest...the Legendary Mr. Larry Ramsell from the fabled Hayward Wisconsin area. If you are interested in finding out more about it, or signing-up, you can visit us at our booth in the Expo Hall, email us:nwmuskie@comcast.net, or call the "hotline": 253-850-5889. The seating will be limited for the school. All the information about the school will also be available on our website: nwtigermuskies.com
The cost will be $50.00 for non-members/ $35.00 for members. 7:30 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. sign-up early to reserve your place.
We will be looking forward to seeing and speaking with you.

Fishnislife,
Thanks, a lot of time, and effort, goes into getting ready and then putting on one of these shows. Our volunteers appreciate your kind words and thoughts.
Well today is the last day of the 2009 Show and it has been a blast! Speaking for myself...I can say it was, once again, great to see and speak with so many of you "fellow anglers". If you want to know what we are up to just check out our M.I. Chapter 57 website. We try our best to keep it updated regularly with what's going on within our organization.
Well it is off to the show for me...see you there and on the water this year!
