Perch is the easiest yearround fish we have in the Northwest. Check out those ice fishermen in Minnesota they get alot of perch through the ice.

are there good docks or spots from shore? I'm boatless. American Lake is twice as far away from me, compared to LW. I was having good luck at Coulon. Most were 10" range, with 1 @ 12". Also, caught several bass and squaws.

Perch fishing is really good right now in Lake Washington. At least it was Sunday. I could very well be going again this Sunday. That of course after a mid week trip to Banks Lake for some Walleyes and big perch. Headed to Banks Lake Thursday E-A-R-L-Y! Fish Thursday and Friday for Walleye catching the occassional Perch and then Saturday a day with honey do's written all over it and then Perching on Sunday at Lake Washington again. Heck of a fish fry coming up.
I have never met a fish yet that respected a big purchase. You can own a $100 boat or you can own a $30,000 boat. You might be more comfortable, but don't expect any fish to care about your investment.
