WOW thats what i call fishing

Post by limarxy » Tue Nov 16, 2010 2:10 pm

we went to banks lake (by the dam in the park area) on saturday night for whitefish early season, so we started at 11 pm, took our flash light and so many of them swiming there, we used shrim to fish and guess what did not catch any whitefish instead we 3 of us caught trout , it was biting like nothing else, we limited 5 trouts size 22 inches and bigest was 26 inches long, in 2 hours , i have had never expirianced this fishing on banks lakes ever, temperatures was 36 and night was clear no clouds and no wind, bait safeway salad cooked shrimp, casting 20 to 30 feet from the shore, but it was not biting during the day or morning or evening, for some reasons at night, never had have this happen, the local said that the witefish was comming from the deep by thousands and spook the trout from the holes to the shores, wana go there again this week
