that was my dads log truck back in early 40's. it was taken at camp 18 sunset hwy. on the road to seaside from portland, town called elsie, where i was born. i have several thats my favorite. it was a yellow fir aprox 8,000 board feet

Awesome!! I love seeing that type of picture from "the day". Way back in time. Before the modern equipment of today.

They should be biting now. Check out the lake in Millersylvania park. Cant think of the lakes name off hand for some reason, but I was dinking around last year this time and watched a guy fill a bucket with them. Just worm and crappie nibbles under bobber. Tiny little buggers though.
