So many ponds . Stop and fish. Yakima and Wapato all through to Sunnyside would seem best. I tried Thrall road but its trout only.Theres another right before the start of the Canyon road that has loads of fish.Sorry to answer so late. Im thinking of the ponds this weekend when I buy Asparagus.

I've caught the most crappie in Ponds 1,2, & 5 but I don't actually fish for them.

Im going East to Yakima tomorrow. How does the numbering of the ponds work. I only know them by proximity. Like in Buena or in Sunnyside. I would like a mixed bag of fish to go for. Any ideas? Thanks.

They Just number the larger ones 1-7 in order from Yakima headed E/SE to Tricities. I Think it list exit number on the reports page.
I think they all have trout except 5 & 7 are warmwater only.
5 & 6 have catfish, though I've never seen any in 5.
Lotsa perch and pumpkinseeds in all the ponds, most have crappie and largemouth.

I fished a large pond every year. Its in Ellensburg. When I wrote my report I put in Fioroto pond. Im not sure that was the pond I was fishing.None the less I was surprised to see a Sqwahfish in the pond. Saw loads of little fish resembling crappie or bluegills. It was very windy with the farmer plowing his very dry fields. The dust was unreal.I was using Powerbait w/o much luck. I saw a young couple come down with spoons. I put on my Blue Fox and got four pretty quick.

Probably Fiorito, there are a few others it could be but it is the biggest I think.
