Re: Baker lake information please
I'm not positive but im pretty sure none of the camp areas around Baker Lake have power.
I'm staying at Swift creek July 9,10 & 11 and then coming back July 30,31 & AUG 1st and 2nd.....& then heading to Lake Wenatchee right after that.
Swift Creek also has a mooring dock for people camping their.
I know for a fact there is no power @ Swift creek.
Fish on

Re: Baker lake information please
none that I know of. :-(
Any of the camp grounds will be fine. The fish are scattered. North end is traditionally the go to area, but the south end by the dam has good fishing as well. When the sockeye want to cooperate, that is.

Re: Baker lake information please
FYI:
June 1, 2017
Skagit River to open to sockeye fishing
Action: Open a section of the Skagit River to fishing for sockeye salmon.
Effective dates: June 11 through July 15, 2017.
Species affected: Sockeye salmon.
Location: SKAGIT RIVER (Skagit County) from Hwy. 536 at Mt. Vernon (Memorial Hwy. Bridge) to the mouth of Gilligan Creek.
Daily limit: 3 sockeye salmon only.
Reasons for action: This action will implement the 2017/18 salmon rules recently adopted during North of Falcon regulation process. These dates are not listed in the current (2016/2017) fishing rules pamphlet.
Other information: Night closure is in effect. The season may close earlier if the guideline is attained.
The sockeye fishery, along with other fisheries on the Skagit River, are tentatively scheduled to close June 28, 29, July 6, 7, and 11 to avoid gear conflicts with tribal fisheries scheduled those dates. Those dates may change as catches and river conditions change. For updates, anglers should check the emergency rule webpage at https://fortress.wa.gov/dfw/erules/efishrules/.
The sockeye fishery at Baker Lake will open on July 8 with a 4-fish daily limit. Please refer to the Baker sockeye webpage located at http://wdfw.wa.gov/fishing/salmon/socke ... river.html for further information on seasons, fishing rule updates and fish counts.

As far as power goes, Kulshan has power but nothing north of it does. I was staying at Swift Creek last summer and had to resort to driving down to kulshan and plugging my battery in at their bathroom for a little while.

I decided to bring my honda generator. It's only a 1000, so no microwave (lol!) but, it will provide lights and some needed power for a hot plate and such.
