Finally.....New boat time

Post by lowvw » Fri Apr 09, 2010 6:13 am

After a year of looking, finally found what i have been looking for and made the drive down to Olympia last night to pick it up. A 2002 Smokercraft Milentia 162 w/ a injected 70 horse Yamaha..Full walk through window, dual console, dual live wells, bow mount......and I have to be at work this weekend....AHHH. #-o Picks will follow, it was a little dark last night when i finally made it back to Everett...I am waiting on the marina to ship me a new foot control for the Minn kota, and that should be here next week. Does anybody on here have a foot control for a power drive Minn Kota that they are not planning on using on Sunday? Looking to "rent" the controls for a day. Can arrange pickup and delivery. Just really want to get out on the water this weekend...thanks

That is a nice boat. Well worth waiting for.

He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

Nice setup. Your going to have years of fun with that boat. Much like mine, but mine is a lowes. Dual live wells are cool, that is my next objective. did it come with two or three batteries?

Most of my fishing is for Bass, but ill fish for about anything. Took it out yesterday, everything ran great. Boat came with 2 batteries,...with a trojan for the bow mount. Ran the bow mount in the wind all day yesterday and didnt even drop below a 75% charge.

Nice water ride! Bow mounts are used for all kinds of fishing, not just bass. [flapper] I use mine for walleye and panfish as well as working certain spots for bass on occasion. Have even caught trout while bass fishing! :thumright
