Post by Daltontribe » Sun May 18, 2008 1:21 pm

I went fishing at Hayden Lake again, Had very little luck, but did manage a 4lb Largemouth from right next to the dock, about
5 ft from the shore.

NICE FISH, Hey where is Hayden Lake? Is it in Portland. I'm going to some lake in Portland soon and this sounds like it.

Warning to anyone heading to Hayden, the sewage treatment there had a malfunction at a valve and diverted 11,000 gallons a untreated sewage in it last week. Just a heads up guys, there will problebly be a hell of an algea bloom this year in there as a result.

Sweet pick-up Daltontribe. Looks like a good lake.
Nice couple of rigs there. What are you tossing on that Calcutta set-up? Looks like some swimbait action. Is that what you got her on?
Keep tossing that thing and you'll be besting that PB 5lber you got last month.

As for my rigs, I ran a Lambiglas Topwater Special with the Calcutta 100B, and a Bright yellow spinnerbait which is what I caught the fish on. The other rig is a Okuma Guide Series Swimbait Rod with a Curado 200 DHSV, I use that for swimbaits, the bass took a swipe at a 6 inch Castaic Swimbait, but missed the hook.
