Post by fishing collector » Mon Feb 02, 2009 9:58 am

I was surfing and found this site for fly fishing.....it is an index of pictures of the most flies that are popular...It is the best I have found.:pr: http://www.flytyingworld.com/ :pl: If you know of others then please post that site here. It would be a great reference for all fly tyers. Thanks Steve.... OOPS!!! Sorry about not putting in the site addy...It's been added now.

I found this site also and it has all the how to recipes that go along with all the latest flies. They keep up to date on the latest trends http://globalflyfisher.com/ Have a good time, Steve

Fly Fishing is the art of attaching a fake bug to a line and relying on the appropriate manipulation of the rod to deceive the fish into eating a sharp steel hook covered with feathers and fur.

Try THIS link. No recipes or directions, but a lot of interesting flies.

You going to the fishing show?

Found another cool site http://www.angelfire.com/fl3/AklsFlyTying/ This guy has gathered a bunch of flies that are old school and new school. I really like the place. 300+ flies and how to tie them. This will take the chill off winter and keep you busy, Steve
