Gotta get some BUTTS!!!

Heading out of Westport Sunday for the opener of Halibut season. Anybody else going to brave the weather? They are predicting an incredibly long season this year before the quota is met...6 days.#-o

Tailgunner will be in La Push for the north coast opener on the 12th. Questionable water so far, but we may just have to press on.

I'm heading out today to spend the week @ Snow Creek in Neah Bay. We will be in a cabin with 2 pop up canopys outside. Stop in and say hi if ya want, we will tap our keg to celebrate the introductions!!!! Yeah for a vacation.
Look for me, always in a black G-Loomis hat.

I plan to be in Port Angeles (Freshwater Bay) May 20-22 and Sekiu June 11-13 (fishing for halibuts fri-sat, lings sunday). Smallish boat for the Strait though, so when conditons are too rough I'll be relaxing in town.

A buddy and I went out of Freshwater Bay (area 6) Friday night and yesterday. I got skunked, but he landed a chicken. Not a big fish (I estimate low teens), but any day you can put a halibut in your 15-foot skiff on the Strait is a successful trip in my opinion! :cheese:

Report with picture should pop up in Area 6 reports sometime today.

Looking forward to Sekiu!
