For the East Sider's, Bead Lake has some good Ling in it.
RE:Whoops!
You're talking about fresh water ling...Burbot? Right? They are much different than pacific lingcod... Some lakes like Katchless has burbot in it...not sure if Lake Cle Elum does or not...it might...Marc Martyn wrote:For the East Sider's, Bead Lake has some good Ling in it.

RE:Whoops!
Since Aaron has addressed the original issue of the picture being in the wrong place, I am moving the thread to saltwater discussions, since it has transformed into it.

RE:Whoops!
Shallower water lings are fun to fish for with bass gear and half ounce jigs w/6 inch grubs. They can rip out some line and also bite you off.
RE:Whoops!
One of my best experiences ever was the first time I went out with a friend in his boat bottom fishing.... I was pulling up a small, maybe 12" long Ling and expressed my disappointment as soon it was close enough to the surface to see it's size. My friend told me to give it some slack, allowing it to start swimming back down. While still in view, another Ling, maybe only twice the size of the one I had hooked, came up and chomped down on my fish. He didn't release until I was pulling them both out of the water. I enjoy fishing for them based on their aggression factor alone
