RE:Sea Perch
I fish for surf perch alot. They are around all year, but I have found in early fall or late spring I catch them more often. The more drizzle and rain and cooler the better. :thumright

I was wondering if there is a difference between Surf Perch / Rosetail Perch and "Sea Perch"
I found this link which has a good bit of info on them.
