Dalles Lakes / Pierce County

Hi, looking to plan a week end outing and I was looking on Google for out of the way places. Found Dalles Lakes out past Greenwater. Looks like a camp ground down on 410 by the river, but more interested in the lakes themselves. Maybe for a fishing/shooting outing. Anyone familiar with the area?
