I am lame at figuring this stuff out, so maybe somebody can help me out..
Last count that I see is 33
For the mains, there will be Burgers, hot dogs, smoked meat, ling, & possibly crab.
I think buns come in packs of 6 or 8, so I am thinkin 24 burgers? Does that sound like enough? Or should I do more (like 1 per person)?
Gringo - very generous of you to do burgers and buns! I think that sounds about right, depending on how many hotdogs and fish will be there. Costco is close by as is a large shopping center so in a pinch we can make a quick run. We WILL grab that water-front spot first thing the park opens!
FYI everyone, I'm out of town this week, back on Friday.

Just an FYI, I will not be eating a burger or hotdog (I am a piscitarian (woot for new new words in the dictionary)) but I may bring a salmon patty of some sort to throw on for me (and possibly for my Fiance). Also though I want to get there Early it looks like I wont arrive till later in the morning because I have to go wait in a line Saturday morning to get my drivers license renewed. Thanks and I am looking forward to some fun!
ps. I will bring my little 1 man rubber raft to fish from but if someone has a boat seat open please PM me and I would be more than happy to fill it for you. Just hard to sift through all the post and see who has what open...maybe we could add an open seat list to the Roll Call???

Lots of boaters out with the great weather. The park filled up come mid afternoon. I think we will be fine if we grab a spot early.
Bring the sunscreen if it's nice again and get to the bbq a little early. I'd hate for someone to miss out because of traffic or no parking.
We launched earlier and had no problems. I think the launch is 24hrs. Or at least extended hours.
The plan is to get there earlier to launch and fish up to the bbq. If you want to meet up in the morning before putting your boat in the water we will be there at the launch. I'm thinking 5am. PM me if your fishing from a boat. I have something for you.
PM Dez if your fishing from a canoe/tube/pontoon, he has something for you.
See ya there guys.

There are a few. Not sure if they are good or not, never stayed at any of them...
I found these on the web..
This place is on the west side of the lake (state park is on the east side)..

This place is in Issaquah (about 5 minutes away)

This place is in Bellevue/Eastgate (just off I-90, about 10 minutes away).

We decide not to take the Suicide Duck II to much hassel with all the boaters and such , don't really feel comfy
leaving her sit on the beach alone wail we vist at the BBQ. So sorry to say no open seat here , there would have been!
But we don't want to fight the crowd at the launch coming out either. If it had been at a lake with not so much traffic we would have brought her in a hart beet.
see you all there !!

Bill and I are planning on coming to the picnic now and we'll bring a big potato salad. Really looking forward to putting faces with names this year. I don't know how to add the food to the list so could someone do that for me, please. Thanks.

fishnislife's got it on the money. I'm spending tomorrow night through Monday up there fishing it. Lots of good reports too, so I'm darn excited to get a line in out there. I heard of a few 20+ lb keepers caught...
I have a lot of work (and some fun, which means fishing/crabbing in the morning and afternoon) to do up there at my cabin and my dad and I are spending a long 4 day weekend up there. Can't really bag the pops, not that I would ever want to. Our (fishing) time has gone down significantly in the past few years with me getting older, so its nice to be able to make the most of it when it's available. Otherwise I would be at the bbq, I'd fish Saturday am, zip over to Sammamish for the bbq with fresh salmon then turn around and go back up. I just got too many chores/projects I need to start and finish...We'll see, maybe a "surprise" visit could be in store....
