Just a reminder to pre register at melodie@yjguideservice.com if you want to guarantee yourself a spot in the 20 boat field. We already have 12 boats registered. Also dont forget you have to have a contestant banner on your boat as per WDFW's rules for tournaments.

Hey Everyone,

I just spoke with Nate. Nate, and Doug, are over there on the P.O.R. representing the NW TIGER PAC Chapter 57 today. Nate said it is presently 42 degrees and they had boated one fish so far. Hopefully, the water will warm a little more and the fish will become more active this afternoon.

17 Boats showed-up this morning for Chapter 60's, The Mountain Muskies, Tourney. Good turn-out. Congratulations, to you all for braving this cool March weather! I wish you all the best of luck.... Wishin' I was Fishin'....

I will be looking forward to reading about today's experiences as you post them.

Getter done!

Well just got back from the tournament. It was a nice day after all with some sun and no rain. Quite a few fish were caught, I think a total of 18 fish.
My Partner was Kfedka from here at WL and we got one pike. I thought is was to small to bother with but it ended up to be a 1/4" from winning the big fish pot as nobody got any really nice fish. Craig's wife Mel pretty much cleaned our clocks winning big fish and total length. Her winning big fish was a whooping 24" and I think she had 46 inches total.
My buddy Mike, that I fish with a lot, got 3rd with 44" I believe. I didn't hear who got 2nd.
I missed a nice fish and that was the hi-lite of my day. My partner (Fred) got the 23 3/4" fish.
I learned a lot about parts of the river I haven't been on before and it was a fun day.
Got to meet some nice guys from 57 Sparky and Nate. So it was a success I'd say.

Congratulation Mel! Good show! I am glad to see we had such a great turnout for the first tournament of the year! lets hope all of our tournaments get a good number of people participating. Sounds like everyone involved had a good time. Weather cooperated a little more than last fall!

Oh, and for those of you who missed the USS Pend Oreille..... She is back, and she has improvements! She will be on the water very soon (maybe this afternoon on Silver, pending what the wife wants to do today!).....

I was sitting on a plane, try desperately to text and find out how the tournament was going, till I finally figured it out. Good ole' Delta wants $8 per flight to access wireless. I figured I could wait!
