To enlighten the spirits and to reminisce about the best days of 2013, what was your best pike of 2013. 31" for me from Merritt caught mid May....It was 90 degrees too that week. Here is to a better 2014....or should I say bigger....

Oh come on you pike anglers.... How hard is it to post a picture of your biggest pike from 2013....jeez, you would think I was the only one pike fishing in 2013

My first post! This was my big fish of 2013, I will be honest, I had not way to measure or weigh her, I was sadly unprepared. That being said I took photos of the fish next to my net and measured that out, a conservative estimate would be 35" and being I have nothing to prove she was longer that is what I will post. The gentleman with me said she was probably 13 lbs but who knows. I caught this fish on March 14th (2013) at 7:00 AM after fishing the same spot (dead bait) for three days without a bite.

Welcome to the website and this pike tally. I have to say we considered not allowing pike caught on dead bait to be counted in this forum but hey, a pike is a pike. Nice fish!

I see why you would consider that, dead bait is a totally different type of fishing, but I suppose at the end its the same type of fish at the end of the line.
