Add Marine Areas and Columbia River Zones to Historical Data

Post by Fish Dawg » Wed Feb 10, 2016 3:33 pm

Would love to be able to get the same speices, color, and presentation reports for Columbia River zones (especially Lake Roosevelt & B10) that we can get for freshwater lakes. WOuld also like to be able to use the same queries/reports to get information for the MA's.

Any chance this is included in the next upgrade?

Thanks for the effort to improve the tools and information available on NWFR!

PS - Would also like to be able to select the CR zones in the GPS hot spots.

In case Aaron doesn't see this I will send it to him.

Good timing, as he is hard at work on the next major site update, projected to be done late spring.

I believe all of your requests will be included in the new site. I completely redesigned the database that holds all of our data to treat all report types equally. This makes anything you can do to/with a report available to all report types. We've grown so much over the years that we had to just build a ton of separate areas that LOOKED similar, but were housed separately. This new design will bring everything together and reduce the amount of separate pages you need to visit to see what you want.
