Unemployed, how many of you.........?

I got a job now working in the Tri-Cities but after I graduated from college it took me a little over a year to get the job. It was definitely like a full time job looking for openings though, I just searched online through a bunch of different websites trying to look for manufacturing places or labs, Washington Worksource, and Simplyhired.com since I graduated with a chem e degree. Funny thing is, the same day that I got a job offer where I'm working at now, the shipyard over at Manchester by Port Orchard had given me an offer for a job. Over a year with no offers then ended up with 2 on the same day after all the bs.

Well after 2 long years of no work through my Union,..Local 86 Ironworkers I decided after my UI benifits ran out in June 2010 to start seeking work elsewhere and in a different industry,..I searched for Bartending work as I am well versed in the Art Of Mixology but to no avail,..after about 4 months of work here and there and mostly Remodeling jobs I caught something on WaFish that grabbed my attention,..Russ Baker was looking for an employee to work at one of his businesses,..I answered the call and since Nov 5th I have been employed with his company. I must say I am very pleased and he treats his workers with respect. The work is steady and keeps me on my toes,..granted it's a bit slower than what I am used to but steady none-the-less,..and as the wife says,.."hey thank God you're working",..I'd have to agree,..THANK YOU Russ Baker proud sponsor of WALakes and owner of Limit Out Performance Marine!
