It hit me that I was ol' school when I mentioned Jefferson Airplane and someone corrected me and said "Don't you mean Jefferson Starship?"#-o You'll also get a blank stare from someone if you mention Cassius Clay.
Where did I put my walker.......?

You wanted the Best ... You got the Best ... The hottest Band in the World ... KISS!!! ... Okay so maybe showing my age but after 35 years they are still rockin ... so says the infernal voices in my head ... lol!!! Actually I listen to most anything ... though top forty is usually not the first place I go to find something to relax to.

The Rolling Stones have to take that title.............47 years and still touring and selling out venues. If someone would have told me in 1962 that they would still be playing and selling out concerts in 2009, I would have told them they were slam nuts. Keith Richards is so off the wall you can't help but love him! Mick is amazing on the stage.

62 Stones I would take ... 2009 Stones I cant quite handle ... but will have to say that I dont see Chris Brown or any of the other Top 40 artists still doing what they are doing over the next forty years like some of these classic bands.

Depends...

In the car on a nice day with the windows down - Rock

In the truck with the woman - Country

In the bed with the woman :smurfin: - Jazz

But I do change up the rock and country..

Here are a few bands/artists that I really dig:
Vintage AC/DC
Led Zeppelin
Chris Cornell
Nora Jones
Pink Floyd
Randy Travis
Acoustic Alchemy
BB King
Bob Marley
Frank Sinatra
Grateful Dead
John (Cougar) Mellencamp
Metallica
Oingo Boingo
Ottmar Liebert
Stone Temple Pilots
Talking Heads
Tom Petty
Mojo Nixon
ZZ Top
Yellowman

My basic requirements are creativity and musical skill. It really irks me when I hear "new" music that's nothing more than a recycled classic. The same goes for movies. How many "new" movies are just recycled plots from previous flicks? I'd say at least 90%! #-o

Jeeze, i didnt expect that many metal fans. O.o Good on ya! :P
But for me, headbangin isn't quite there... I @m teh techn0 f@n^^
Well, 'techno' is a really broad term, so this is more of what I listen to, with a link too cuz its not too well known:

Rave
Hardstyle
Jumpstyle (dance is on this vid too Samurai jumpstyling)
Hardcore
Extratone

and prolly some others that im forgetting cuz I'm listening to jumpstyle right now^^

I know that you prolly aren't all that inclined to click the link, but I highly reccomend the jumpstyle one. Its a really challenging dance, but if it looks cool to you then you should try it. Its a lot of fun :D

So yea, thas how I roll XD

Im an old schooler. I'll name some of them for you fellow old schoolers: Thanks to LimeWire and iTunes, I have most of my favorite old school stuff on CD’s. Earth Wind & Fire, Luther Vandross, New Edition, LeVert, Janet Jackson, MJ, Bar-Kays, Gap Band, Midnight Star, Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam, Lakeside, The Temptations, Surface, Chaka Khan, Babyface, Junior, Morris Day & the Time, Patrice Rushen, Whodini, Prince, Shannon, Atlantic Starr, Debarge, SWV, Karyn White, O'Brian, Newcleus, Evelyn King, New Edition, The Whispers, Ready For The World, Parlament, George Clinton, Howard Johnson, Grandmaster Flash & The Furious 5, George Benson, Sheila E, Dazz Band, One Way, Con Funk Shun. Run DMC. I'll stop there.

I also like listening to some County Music but I'm picky. I like Kenny Chesney, George Starit, Carrie Underwood, Sara Evans, that kind of stuff. I like old rock like Van Halen, The cars, Aerosmith, ZZ Top, George Thorogood, to name a few. I have no love for Rap or Hip Hop. Lastly, I like a few bands like Evanescence which I often have crankin when I lift weights. So there you have it. I listen to jazz sometimes as well. I guess for me it depends on the mood I'm in, but I primarily listen to the old school stuff listed above.
