Hey everyone, I just got off the phone with Piece County Parks. I was told the launch is available at 6:30am so plan on that being the check in and launch time (6:30am to 8am). You MUST check in with me, Dez, or Fishnislife prior to fishing. If you launch at another location please swing by the county park and check in with us so we know you're out there. The Derby ends promptly at NOON. Shore anglers please also check in but I'm going to give you all more leeway - check in by 10am at the park with me.

Remember, you can fish for both bass and perch so you'll have a shot at $200 if you win both.

Have a good time everyone!, I won't be able to attend this year. My parents are coming in town for the week. I actually have to pick them up when the picnic starts.

I'm predicting biggest bass 3lb 8oz if Dez is fishing, if Dez isn't fishing I'm predicting 3lb 8oz

I stopped by Obertos and got some Jerky treats for all.Jerkies and pepperonis are so laden in sodium ,no one will need a restroom while fishing. Hehehe

It is a pot luck, yes. Looks like we could use some cookies if you decide to go. It's going to be lot's of fun - food, entertainment, free stuff, $200 in derby money - hope you decide to join us!

Parking fee is 7.00 , launch fee is 15.00, senior fee is 3.50 parking, 5.00 launching bring a related senior , the ordinance lets you use your relatives ticket....for parking and launch..... Look at it at pierce county parks , lake tapps on line....

Nice Pic. The view of the mountain, when at the lake, sure is a bonus.

My favorite Tapps Pic

I reduced the file size so it should show up in-line now. You can see the outlines of Lake Tapps (pre-dike system), Church Lake, and Lake Davis. You can also see the property lines of the now flooded lots surrounding those original lakes.
