an evil twin, LOL. I think someone from this thread set it up, but darned if I know for sure. I'm logged into my Facebook account and I'm able to edit this WashingtonLakes.com Facebook account. I'm really losing it if I set it up and can't remember doing it! I don't use Facebook so it's unfamiliar to me.

I think you set it up during or right after the sportsman show in Puyallup in 2009.

Don't want to call someone? send them a pm so you don't have to hear their voice. Forgot to get someone a birthday card? thats ok, just send them a happy bday message and put in on thier wall - your covered. Facebook will even remind you when thier birthday is coming so you don't even have to think about them until the day of. Hey sweetie, todays our five year annivesary - here's a dancing racoon singing to you. No I didn't get you anything else, was I supposed to?
I feel about the same way. Some people are on it so often, they are broadcasting to everyone every moment of their day. Many people don't think about the security of the site. They will post when and what they are doing during the day and not think anything about it. What is scary, is that with a simple Dex name search, their phone number and address is available. This is very convenient for a "friend" "of a friend" of a friend who may have criminal intentions.
I have a page, but am on it very little.

I deleted my account about six months ago. Folks from my past kept showing up...
IE: X wife, people that I had arrested and put in jail and people that I was trying to forget. I feel a little safer now.

It does have it's advantages though. I was contacted by a distant cousin in California that is doing genealogy, which I am doing also and she had a great deal of accurate information of the family history. She had old photos and documents of my GGG grandparents.

My high school class just last year had our 40th class reunion. Facebook helped locate a lot of people all over the world.

I was recently contacted by an old friend, which was kind of neat. My issue is one of time. I frankly don't have time to add yet another interactive thing to my life. It just isn't high enough up on my priority list. And, there is a certain feeling I have that is similar to interaction on this site - you can fish, you can fish and talk about it, or you can just talk about it. I would rather "fish and talk" about it. The analogy with Face Book is you can keep active with friends face to face, or you can spend more time on the computer having cyber friendships and less time in the real world having face to face friendships. I will say, the human evolution we are part of is pretty amazing. The hive is growing more and more connected with each passing year. We are in many ways becoming one giant collective on this planet, and sites like FaceBook, and this one (in it's little corner of the cyber world) are the reason.

Can you imagine how LOST some people will be if/when we have a giant communication melt-down, like a massive solar flare that wipes out data and the internet? They will have no idea what their lives are really about. Me - I'm going hiking. :salut:

That is scary specially in your line of work. My wife has one and she`s on it a couple times a day. But boy I`ll tell ya what she has friends that live on it. She wanted me to set one up I told her no way. I don`t want every Tom Dick and Harry knowing what`s going on in my life. No offense to any of you guy`s because I`m sure you use it for what it`s for but some people use it just to be nosey and need to know what`s going on in everyones personal life. I live in a very small town. Everyone knows everyone. But I guess to each is own.:)

I have one but I don't say everything I do. In fact very little.
Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook

He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.
