Pig Skin Pick'em-NFL Playoffs

Post by kevinb » Fri Jan 07, 2011 10:44 pm

First off,my apologies for starting this way late, just been busy.
Second of all,for those that are not familar with this, this is something we have done in years past with football predictions in regular and post season play. Since I started so late....we go with the post season.
Basically you pick which teams you expect to win,in this case, the teams you expect to advance further into the playoffs.
Nothing on the line except bragging rights but the loser assumes full resposibilities for the damages aquired by racfish while operating the WaLakes RV.
I will start off with Wildcard Weekend and make updates for the rest on this thread.
Remember, this is all in good fun.....heck,I'm a Packer fan,so I expect to get some tude.
Good luck

Wild Card(s)

Saturday
Saints @ Seahawks
Jets @ Colts

Sunday
Ravens @ Chiefs
Packers @ Eagles

Here goes

Saints
Colts
Ravens
Packers

I'm really hoping the Hawk's win and I will be supporting the 12th man but if I'm a gambling man,I'd choose the Saints.
I hope I'm wrong on this.

Naturally I pick the Pack but expect this to be a tough game.

Seahawks:Drew Brees is second in the NFL with 22 interceptions this year.
The 'Hawks cornerbacks will be goin for the Pick 6. The linebackers will be going in for sacks.
If the Offense can keep there passing game goin on, they have a chance.Just to top it off, there playin at home.

Jets: This is going to be an exciting game. This hasnt been Manning's best year.
Struggling to get into the playoffs. I dont think Manning and Addai will get past the Jets defense.
Colts wont be getting very much red zone. Get the ball to LT on the outside, and he will be gone.

Ravens:Ray Lewis falls #17 on the top players in the NFL History. He modivates his team, he gets them hyped up, they try there best. The Chiefs have had a lack of Post Season Expierence, and IMO they will collapse under pressure.
The chiefs will need to shut down the Ravens running game. If they can do that, they might have a chance.

Eagles: EAGLES ALL THE WAY

Dont get me wrong Scott Id love for the packers to win. Ill be rooting for them trust me. Id rather have chicago at home then have Atlanta in atlanta. If we play chicago its a NFC championship game for the hawks. If we play atlanta, I think its end of the road.

Some pretty good games this past weekend and congrats to the Seahawks.
Hawk fans should be very proud,a nice upset against the defending Super Bowl champs. Even if the Seahawks
don't advance, you already have to be looking towards the future. Was a little surprised to see the Colts toppled at home.

Well heres round 2

Divisional Playoffs
Saturday

Ravens @ Steelers
Packers @ Falcons

Sunday
Jets @ Patriots
Seahawks @ Bears

These are my picks for who I want to win, not necessarily who i think will win. If I had a clue about that I would be a betting man.

Ravens
Falcons
Jets
Seahawks
Washington State Pond Jumperz
Washington's First Electric Only Bass Club
Hosting five open entry electric motor bass tournaments in 2012.

The Steelheads
The coho
the Chinooks
The Sockeyes in that order
When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.
