Just about the time when the days start getting longer and you are pumped for spring, you are reminded it is still winter. Next week in Spokane we are suppose to get snow and lows around zero.[mad]

+1 on that. Tons of salmon, steelhead, beautiful women, and sunshine in the spring and summer!

Ya, but the bass fishing lakes are more than down where I was planning on moving to. There are at least 5 within 30 minutes of here, and only 1 down there. The other lakes are at least 2 hours away, but they are good lakes.

I'm kind of hating Feb. right now too. It's a Sat. and it is like hurricane winds in the Seattle Metro area. I am watching junk blowing out of the fir trees. This wind is not kind to boats trolling at 1.5 mph!

It was a good 75 degrees yesterday.
Today we had a lil bit of rain, and some wind early
morning. Come 2 o' clock, back to about 75 degrees.

Haha, good thing I don't fish for bass! I wouldn't miss out on much.

Tell me about it! I was out on Lake Washington today for about 2 hours and I felt like I was fishing at Westport. Luckily I don't get seasick, I'da been ralphing over the edge all day long! When we were pulling the boat out at Coulon there was a dude about to launch his little 16' fiberglass and he was taking wave after wave over the stern, thank god he decided to pull out while the boat was still on the trailer otherwise I don't think they would've made it back to the launch!

I wonder how windy it was on Sammamish, and how the bass tourny went in the wind.

Wow sounds like sour grapes to me. Got in a round of golf yesterday. Spent the day on the river, beautiful sun shine and warm. Curses, the fish were quite safe today but it was very nice out.

I know how you feel, Im starting to get the fishing itch real bad, and the weather is hasnt been cooperating latey. Right around this time of year I start to prepare gear, make lists of everything I need and impatiently count down the days 'till spring. Not too much longer. I may head down to american this week or next to test a new spinning combo I just picked up. Tight lines to all!

I might head over to walk on water Sunday, drill some holes, bend and jiggle the rod, put my worm in a perch, or, have some perch bite my worm, wiggle my jig, jiggle my worm, spent today stokin the fire in the 75 degree house, 75 degrees cause I was stokin the fire, also hit the web today to buy ice fishing gear for next year, setup a fishing vacation for this summer in WI, also fondled the worms today, made sure they were still kickin and not all fishy smelling. I LOVE FEBRUARY! Seems like it's a dryer month than Nov, Dec, Jan, I could be wrong. It's all good, its just not all easy! Just have some fun folks regardless of what ya do!

I haven't touched my spinning gear at all since my boy started middle school. He is now married and teaching high school in Burlington.

I'll grab a cup of coffee, head to my tying bench, put on some music and create some new patterns. In a couple of weeks, warm weather will be here. Ice fishing, sitting on a stool, no thanks, I can wait.[wink]

I have decided a Magma 14" propane grill is going to be a NECESSARY addition to my boat for the upcoming summer months. With pink season just around the corner I am dreaming of sitting on anchor, frying up burgers, and pitchin' jigs for pinks on a nice warm summer day!

I'm with you Marc, no thanks on the ice holes.

I'm not very fond of February myself. It's the shortest month of the year and takes the longest to get through. Sometimes I think somebody should put Punxatawny Phil out of our misery. [cursing] [cursing] [cursing]

I heard that dogs aren't the way to go due to the fact that they tend to roll.... The magma grills mount out over the water on an arm so they don't drip grease or crap into your boat. Also, if you get a fire just shut off the gas and put the lid on, it will go out.
