Picnic starts at 11:oo or is it 11:30. It`s free except I think you have to pay to launch if your fishing. AMX would be the man to ask and I`m sure he`ll be along shortly.

I want to cry. My weekend is slowly getting ruined. I woke this am to a flat tire on my car. My truck is sputtering, work sucks. I'll still come to picnic for a lil bit but Im working both Sat And Sunday. I need a new job or life.

Picnic starts at 11:30. Fishing starts whenever you get there, but there is no fishing derby, just fun fishing.

see bottom of post #118 by Mike, 3/4s the way down on page 6.

#-o #-o Amen racfish, I'm right there with yuh. That's OK, once we get the stink of salmon on our hands going out before work, we'll forget about these dang 7 day work weeks (err, at least I hope so).#-o

I will make it a point to smoke up salmon wearing a shirt I will bring to work or else wear one covered with some fish goo and scales. Make sure I stink like smoke or fish LOL.
If anybody asks about it at work I will smile ear to ear and proudly pronounce I was working with my other job, the one that DOESN'T STINK.

Dirty and Dusty Deeds will be there......1 kid and 1 (should be) adult.
We'll bring a few bags of ice, chips and or some type of salad.
Should be a lovely day.

I bummed a boat ride so I'll be there crack-o-dawn (well, 6am anyway) to try to get lucky with some bass.

The casting contest? Is it with baitcasters and spinning reels ? Do we all just use our own gear? I think I'm pretty acurate with both . JMO..What time of day will that be?In case I need to limber up.

Bring/use your own rod, one that you want to use. And use whatever lure you want, just be carefull with the hooks, no throwing lures at Dez.

Well again I`m not going to able to attend the picnic. This year due to work. Have to make a trip to Port Townsend and Port Angelas just to unlock a gate for a crew. Had yesterday off so you think someone could have called then.:rambo: [-( :thumbdown Leaving in a few so maybe I can make the tail end of the picnic.

Thanks everyone that got out to the picnic. I was not expecting the crunch of people at the park and I hope we didn't lose too many people trying to find our group.

Special thanks to tnj8222 for the donation of Jersey Mike's sub sandwiches, and to Big Bass Dez for the huge discount coupons for Dobyn rods and T-shirt/hats.

And again, gringo pescator displayed an amazing ability to win yet another WL.com Casting Contest and take bragging rights for another year!

so did I.......... hey,..... that is pretty funny! :)

Robyn and I had a great time! Thanks to all of you who attended and made it happen. You really made us feel welcome. I'm already looking forward to next year. And yes, that was a rapala I was tossing, I'll admit a very poor selection with the casting targets being so close. I'll beat ya next year Mark/Gringo! :) LOL
