Had a great day on the Jetty yesterday, 4 lings, this being the biggest, a bunch of greenling and we ran into ResQ and several other WaLakers to boot! We lost a monster, pushing 25-30 pounds, the steel leader fell apart under the pressure. The was a bummer.

So the bite picked a bit after we left? Dog gonnit lol wow. Would have loved to see the monster!
Re: 2012 Epic Saltwater Photos
Yea, I got this one right after you guys left. I got another for my brother on a float a half hour later, then my dad hooks the monster. It was huge!

First surf perch! Great day. Lots of action. Cabezon, rock greenling, giant type surf perch and tons of red tail surf perch! The giant is the two fillets in the ziplock bag Roughly football sized.

Since the thread hasn't been posted in all summer here are my pictures from my last Westhaven Jetty trip. Like a lot of you on this thread, I love the jetty!
Re: 2012 Epic Saltwater Photos
Yessir. That jetty puts some good fish and chips on the table! Only made it out a few times this year, but everytime I do get out I have a blast!

I know this wasn't sport caught(caught about 1 mile north of Dutch Harbor, AK) but thought its a cool picture to show how big halibut can get, 119''. That's my dad next to it, he is just short of 6' tall, picture from a year ago.
