down in front of my house i just use a wee dick nite small lead 4 foot of leader. the rule for sea cuts if you can't see the bottom your too deep.... good luck!
Nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught....

No retention on those fish. You may have to run single/barbless...

Any spoon or spinner that is common for trout would work. I used to pitch 1/4 oz Kastmasters for them and did just fine.... +/- 1 hour of a high tide change was the peak time where I fished...

I fished and still do occaisionally fish for cutties near Lincoln Park in West Seattle area alongside of Beach Drive SW. I used pop gear on a 2 oz lead. Usually with a small Coyote or Dick nite spoon. A small piece of herring filet work great too. Have fun Enjoy...

I think all the damage is being done in the lakes regarding the searun cutts.

It was already mentioned about the barbless single hook, but please note that "Selective gear" means..... BAITLESS and barbless single hooks.
But as was mentioned,, try a Kastmaster in either full chrome or copper. cut the hook and replace with a siwash single pinched barb. Great lure from the beach. With the right reel and light 6lb line you will throw it a country mile.

Well hooked and landed 2 nice cutts last night just as the sun was setting. They dont really bite much during the day. Was on a pinched dick nite. Strong little fish.

Remember to handle them carefully. Those Puget Sound Sea Runs are gems of trout in my book and have only recently made a comeback to healthy numbers.
