Looks like a decent road to walk. High tide is at 10 on saturday, so i'll probably get there around 10:30.

Been busy and haven't been able to say how i did last saturday. So got out to the tahuya last saturday...Fished over on the rocks below the steelbridge and to the right. So many people, could hardly find a spot to fish. Place was stacked with fish though. Ended up landing 6, releasing 4. Lost too many to count, was using way too light of tackle. So, had an okay day. But that's the last time i'm ever going out there. Way too many people. So i'm just gonna wait for the dungeness to open next week.

No i didn't. No time, and i busted up my leg from falling off a rock into the river..I ended up using red yarn and a bead. Hooked a good ammount of fish, but with 15 other people casting around me in a small little hole its hard to get fish in on 8lb line. Nice fish though. Both fish i kept were bright and 8 and 10lbs. Huge skeins of eggs. Lost some huge coho as well.

Fishbait were you out there with your grandfather? Think i saw you out there. You have a small dog? I was the kid with the black hat fishing off the rocks.

Yeah, well people go where the fish are right? Wish i could get back out there, but long drive from where i live. Plus i don't like people casting over me while i'm landing a fish...So i'm gonna stick with the dungy and sol duc for the rest of the coho season.

Theres the fish from the river. I was trying to keep the sun out of my eyes, so the picture came out kinda bad. Oh well. [laugh] oh and that's not the hole i was fishing, just where i cleaned my fish.
