Post Falls Cabela's

Post by Lotech Joe » Tue Nov 06, 2007 7:07 pm

The new Cabela's in Post Falls is due to open on Friday the 9th of Nov. I've been given a pass for a look-see on the 7th because I have one of their credit cards. I'll be there around 4PM tomorrow and was wondering how many WL.com'ers I could expect to see. I'll be the big guy in the full beard (with grey). If you're going to be there, look for me in the fly fishing, fishing, camping, aquarium areas and the cafeteria.
I wonder if they allow cameras?

Lotech Joe, your a lucky man, I cant wait for the one in Lacey to open. But my cousin went to the bass pro shop in Las Vegas and he had pictures on his camera phone. This still dosnt mean its permitted, but if you try really hard.... you can do it.

Something tells me that won't narrow it down much...

I'm still counting down for the Lacey store.

Really nice facility!!!
Big!
Crowded!
Find almost anything you want!
Nothing on sale?
The bison brat was delicious with bit of mustard and smothered with mushrooms.
I was surprised to find out that they don't have a casting pond to test fly rods. I was also surprised to find that the walk from the parking lot to the front door was every bit as long as the same walk at a Super Walmart. It was however, a grand opening and very crowded.
I look forward to going back when it isn't so busy. It's great to have a Cabela's so close to home. :thumleft:

Lotech Joe-

Were there any sales worth fighting the crowds?

Nope. Everything was retail. And there was a lot of everything.

I didn't make it until Friday, and then spent 4 hours in there. Can you say "kid in a candy store?". I and my wife had a blast, and she took 80 pictures.

All I can say is I understand why my wife never allowed me to work at a sporting goods store. I would bring home no check.:cyclops:
