Summer vacation

All about camping, maybe some fishing thrown in for good measure...

Summer vacation

My wife and I and our 1 year old son are going to vacation down in Oregon for a week in July. I'm hoping find a place that rents out cabins. Family doesn't want to tent it. What are some good places to stay? Preferably around some steelie water!! :-"

There are quite a few nice places on the John Day River, not sure about steelhead but there are plenty of bass.

Haven't been there before, but I think there are steelhead there along with good #'s of catfish in the upper river. There are indeed many smallmouth in the river as well.
