Blueberry Lake
Has anyone fished Blueberry Lake in Bellevue lately. It was full of big bass at one time. I pass it every Monday while taking my dad to his band practice. I dont have time to stop and look at it closely.

On this site it is known as Larsen lake. (just clarifying) There was a report just this past week. Mostly it is fished for crappie, from what I've seen. Blueberry lake comes from that there is blueberry farming around the lake, I believe.

Yea I believe its on 148th ,right near Robinswood.Or close to there. Can we keep crappie from there? I fished there before but released everything. It has a dock on it to gaze or fish from.

Don't know anything about it, Ralphie. Best just check the regs. I just know it is located/surrounded by a blueberry farm, hence the Blueberry connection.

It's been blueberry lake for as long as I've been going there and that's over 50 years........ Ralphy, you could also hit Phantom lake if your in the area. We used to hit some big bass in there too.
It was a fun summer job for a kid until your mom found out you had the screaming blue $#its from eating blueberries all day long.........

Re: Blueberry Lake
Well this thread sure took a strange twist.
Hahahha
But if you end up going there and catching crappie, let me know, I've been wanting to find a closer lake with crappie in it!
Cottage lake supposedly has them, but I've been fishing there for a few years and have never caught one. Perch yes, rainsbows yes, cutthroats yes, catfish yes, bass yes, crappie no!

Re: Blueberry Lake
To many Asians keeping fish one Guy in particular. Was always there with a bucket of crappie bass and tiny cutthroat. I used to be able to go catch tons of crappie there and three pound plus bass. Not worth it anymore, it needs a few years.

Re: Blueberry Lake
Im Asian myself and I wish that they would understand that if they let the fish go it would be better. They can get bigger to reach maturity to reproduce. If that pond was had stunted fish from over population, then by all means, keep the small fish.
Re: Blueberry Lake
No disrespect I just wanted him to know he ruined the lake for a few years. He reads the site, but rarely posts. I sadly showed him how to catch them a little better, and he just went nuts. I tried talking to him about it, but he did not care. Sad lol.
