I hate to throw a wrench in the cogs but when I hear a fisherman say DONT GO HERE. That makes me think Hmmmm it must be real good. Come on people Youve heard the saying "I Fish Therefore I Lie"..... Whats the name of the road on the Skagit so this city boy can find it.

I would bet you could find a spot on Division street. There's a big city park there, BB Diamonds right up to the river and a boat launch.racfish wrote:I hate to throw a wrench in the cogs but when I hear a fisherman say DONT GO HERE. Hehehe, where's my mind.. I'm thinking MV. Snoho, you could hit Lowell or Rotary park, get the map out, lots of spots in between Marysville and Everett, just look for a street, I'd start with google or Bing maps. You could hit just about anywhere along the river road between Snohomish and Everett. Lots of spots to park and sneak down to the river.

Took fishnfreaks advice and took my girls to the skagit. And damn is hot! My wife and daughter limeted out in two hours and lost probably five more. Not sure what the place is called but we crossed the bridge on memorial highway and fished just across from downtown. Plunking sand shrimp dy-no-mite!!

I'm not sure I'd call it red hot but all those people did get to watch a red hot jet boat go by.
I did catch fish and I saw a couple other people catching fish but it's far from red hot, none the less a very nice day on the river with Sickbayer and my son. I'm thinking hard about hitting it again tomorrow afternoon for a while to catch the incoming tide. The fish I did catch were not much good for the egg stash but on the other had they were very (VERY) big bucks with nice red meat, no humps to speak of yet, good eaters, chrome bright.

Was on the Skagit today and only saw one fish caught. Plunked sand shrimp and dick nites on the incoming tide from 3:45 to 6:30 on the sand bar above the memorial hwy bridge. Btw holiday sports is out of live sand shrimp, if you're looking for any go down the road from the memorial hwy bridge going away from down town. The gas stores have some there.

went on Skagit yesterday for 3 hours right near Mount Vernon. landed 1 buck had 4 on.. Buddy had 5 on Lost all 5... We were using pink octopus jig... People next to us limited In a few hours plunking - not sure on bait. Everyone in boats had fish on most the night. Skagit is place to be until they get farther south.
