A picture and topic like that is like Smelly Jelly for Duncan Darkeez....he should be rolling through any time now.
Re: Squidro!
Have you gotten out on the river yet after the pinks quad? This fly in pink could be what you need on a little 6 wgt switch rod.

Re: Squidro!
I love this fly! I'm looking forward to trying it out on silvers here soon!
Re: Squidro!
Seriously for Coho? I would not have thought of that, maybe in a green & black color scheme?
Do you know how to tie them or have you seen any good videos? I am pretty sure I have all the ingredients just need to take the time to study up and then get a few tied.

Looks like a good one for Coho's to me. I've caught plenty on purple feathers. it should work great! Lots of wiggly's and sparklies.

Re: Squidro!
I fished the Snoho. for the first time this year, a couple nights ago. Got one large buck. I'd so much rather catch one on a fly rod though.jumpinjim wrote:Have you gotten out on the river yet after the pinks quad? This fly in pink could be what you need on a little 6 wgt switch rod.
Gonna hit the Yak/Teanaway confluence early Sat. AM. For the first time I'm going to using Dick Nites and/or jigs/float. Seems a little funny to just be getting into that...
Re: Squidro!
Put away those Dick Nites, keep that fly rod out!!! I went down to the duwamish 3 times this last week and swang fish after fish until I thought my arms were going to fall off. Last night I finally pulled out my first Silver of the year which has been driving me crazy... I hate humpie years but you will never hear me say that when I am out there harassin dem humpers.
