Get creative and make a variety as what colors that will work will change with conditions. Purple/chartreuse was my most successful color combo last year, but blue, orange, green, pink, black, yellow and combos thereof are all good options.

Oh, and make sure you add plenty of flashy material to them (i.e. flashabou or something similar).

I agree with waht has been said, but I will add; I started tying my own last season and one of the most important things I think I learned was tie up two or three of each one you tie, even the ones you think wont be great. There is nothing worse than to have a jig you tied be on fire then get lost to a log with no more in your box to back it up.

I like green and dark blue. I have read the biggest thing with coho is to have contrast. I did read that on the internet though so it must be true right. And now here is my french model girlfriend (from the internet)

They can't put it on the internet if it isn't true. ehhhh... bonjour.
The fish that got away, gains at least 2 lbs a day. It's science.

Are those Joel's jigs? I have had my best luck with pink and white or pink and purple. Coho like jigs with lots of action like rabbit strip or flag or legs or long marabou doesn't matter just needs movement
