Why is it that when someone disagrees with Nates point of view that feathers get instantly ruffled? Is this site all about my way or the highway? It is good to have debates and disagreements, it keeps all sides thinking.

There is plenty of solitude left in this state Spoonman and we try to keep our lips zipped to protect our dwindling resource.
Because someone has the same opinion/ view on things and shairs it does not mean there taking sides or backing someone up,its just part of the discussion. Your disrespecting of most people on this site is really irritating and if your trying to get your opinion a crossed peacefully i believe you might wanna have someone proof read your posts because in no way are any of the posts I've read arnt trying to start personal problems, personal problems shouldnt be handled on washington lakes. I try not to come off that way. Let's just take a deep breath here everyone.

how is nfcustom out of line and nate is not? you're right its a discussion......which means there can be civil disagreements. where does nate get off saying i don't participate. i donate my time and money to teaching and participating in a couple conservation groups. nate knows nothing about me or my service and yet he feels the need to assume and insult. i am not bothered cause i do know about Nate. he makes himself known. I'm a different sort, Nate there is much you don't know of me. in fact i defended you when some angry locals were making threats, and some were other guides. before you insult someone you might want to ask some questions.

Somewhere along the line this became a he said-he said thread. I'm not even sure what we're discussing, besides who said what first and who offended who with what subtle or not subtle insult.

TO all of you - when 90% of your post is about attacking another person or defending yourself, you're no longer having a debate. You're having a pissing match. Problem is, these things start degrading pretty fast, so lets stay on point.

And that point was...

Internet web sites ruin fishing?

Guides shouldn't self-promote?

We should be zipper-lips? (which I have no problem with, BTW).

The state of this state's steelhead management is depressing?

Or what?
