Anywhere local to find Penn rod clamp?
I picked up a used Penn Senator 113 for my infrequent halibut excursions and whatever other big game I may target in the future. It is in pretty good shape, but did not have the rod clamp with it. Thought it might be a good item to have and see I can buy a new one online for around $10, but wondering if there is anywhere local that I might find parts for this reel or if maybe someone has an extra kicking around the garage? It's not too old as it's the half frame version.

if ya can get the plastic one with the recessed nut assembly instead of the old standard bolt with wing nut.... it'll be worth a little extra.... those wing nuts suck on the hands.... the clamp that comes with the FTH 30 has a hook stay... a bit in the way for a rod holder, but it works all the same.... I would think OE or Sportco would have it,,, buzz em. I could be wrong.

BentRod,
Not quite sure what you mean by, "The rod clamp" ? I can say though that there is a sort of, outdoor sporting goods/new AND USED equipment store that is at 196th and Hwy 99 in Lynnwood. It is 1 blk East of 99, on 196th. "Dicks or Ed's " sporting goods maybe.
This place is kind of a gold mine to me for weird old fishing stuff. They have a large selection of used reels. Mostly junk... But not always! I bought a vintage mid 1960's Swedish Abu Garcia level wind in there that was MINT!
You should stop by sometime and poke through there. If you call you might get somebody who doesn't know what they'r e looking at.
Also there is "John's reels" ? I think that is the name, up in Everett. Maybe they have parts pile or something.

No..,no, hang on, I'll look it up.
Ted's is just a general salmon gear store on 164th.
Give me just a minute, so I don't spill my beer.

You guys crack me up. Had me laughing reading that exchange.
Thank you both for the information. Chris, that shop you mentioned does sound like it would be a fun place to stop in to take a peek. I'll have to put it on the "places to go see" list.
Mark, I've read that the wing nuts can be a nuisance, but was unsure if one style of clamp was better than the other.
This is the one I found online that and seems to match your description.

Not sure why it needs a lanyard loop, but I'm fairly new to the halibut arena, so have some learning to do. Pretty cheap, but didn't want to order it if the other style was recommended. Maybe this is exactly what I need?
...and Chris, I hope your beer survived!
