Video from today

Post by ResQ » Sun Jan 26, 2014 11:22 pm

Here is a video from todays Jetty excursion. Fish or Man was able to make it out for a bit and stayed after I left for some more action! The first 2 minutes is the amazing sunrise. I had a half dozen or so grey whales go by, a couple dolphins and was ducking for cover when roughly a thousand plus birds descended and even landed about 10 yards from me! Just awesome out there! [thumbup] oh and the large green ling was 17 1/4 inches!

Thanks. I had to cut resolution so it's iPhone compatible. High def really makes the sunrise and the birds flying awesome.

I have looked into walking out to the end of that and chasing lings but I must be honest with myself first of all.. I am fat, disabled and well lazy. I will hopefully have my boat operational to chase lings this year. Ya'll young and in shape folks can keep playing mountain goats for those fish! LOL

Here is the High Def version of the vid. Much better IMO. I think having a boat out there would be fantastic! I could have taken my 16 footer out there as there werent any waves to speak of on the river side! It was very unbelievable. Just the wind slap. No rougher than the south sound!

Nice Vid. Always dream of getting out there someday. Although each year I lose my mountain goat skills a bit more. Nice Audio Slave as well. [flapper]
