Fished the Skookumchuck today (Friday 2/28) and picked up this nice hen down in the fields on a nightmare jig. I'll submit an actual report with more info.

@Bay wolf, well, I don't currently have a fish count in my signature line, but maybe I should consider adding one. @schu7498, the best I could describe it was a very muddy green in some spots, to basically brown in others. Visibility at best was only a foot, if that. I wanted to get back down today, but alas, life happens....

I didn't see one fish today. River is dirty dirty. Fished in centralia at daybreak and worked all the way up to the fields by the hatchery this afternoon.

Haha, yea, did you catch those yourself Danny, because if so, Bay Wolf is right. Or were you just saying that you happened to see two caught....

I was out Friday and seen 10 or so caught at deadline. I was super excited to get out Saturday but didn't see one fish caught while I was there.

Water is still a bit dirty down in the fields. And a little high to. Seen 1 hooked..Super hot fish.Jumped out of the water 3 or 4 times. Super chrome hen.Guy lost it at the bank..Really slow. My buddy missed 1 bobber down. Only oppurtunity between the 2 of us. Need the water to clean up just a little more!

It sure was, the eggs are curing right now. I was a little surprised myself that it was a hen as well.

Ok shoulda clarified lol. Saw 2 caught up by deadline on bobber and eggs. Heard of one more caught down by the hatchery. Fish were rolling in the corner hole, and fish were moving in the pockets just down from the tailout. brat bonkers got a nice chromer today.

Fished the fields hard yesterday. Water is very colored, and high. No fish for me, or any of the other 4 to 5 guys I bumped into.

Since I am still quite new to this river, could you describe where the corner hole is? Google Maps type of view, not river level view.

Got me one and my buddy and my dad each got 1 but other than that only saw 3 others caught, lots of people in the morning but they started to leave in the afternoon, saw nate treat there showing off his tank of a drift boat haha. fishing should continue to get better, when we left it started to raining really bad in yelm, might be a good sign.
