West Coast radiation

Post by Toni » Tue Jan 14, 2014 9:10 am

Another article on West Coast radiation. http://www.latimes.com/science/la-me-we ... z2qOQpX9Ot
Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook

He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

Glad there's some sensible articles dissipating the effects of fear mongers.

Of course we are! It's just a matter of when! LOL
Lots of fear mongering.... From reading past articles, it's that cesium 134 that the models show might start to appear on our beaches this year and come to a head in 2016. None of the models show it exceeding the "safe" standards. In a state filled with college grads vying for grant money on the subject, there is going to be a lot of crap to filter out.

Recall the hype about the tsunami debris field the size of Texas? LOL What'd we get, a bleach bottle and a barge? LOL The models are most likely based on worst case concentrations and even those are pretty low..... Go Fishin! Eat Tuna! [flapper]

This isn't one that I had read until right now... not as detailed as some I have read, it's simple... To add to it, a geiger counter isn't sufficient enough of a device to analyze, to identify, Fukishima radiation.

Yeah. So? I'm gonna worry about the arrival of the inevitable?
I got 3x the radiation heating water for tea with the microwave, and probably 6x the dose from a cel phone call.

Oh my gawd! It's a scam! A renton woman paid $500 to have sand tested! Rip Off! Making money off of people's fears.

Sara Gamble of Renton, Wash., the mother of a young child, raised $500 because she thinks it is important to know what is really going on. Woods Hole sent her a bucket, a funnel, a clipboard, a UPS shipping label, instructions and a big red plastic container for her sample. She went to Ocean Shores, Wash., a couple of weeks ago, collected her sample and shipped it off. No results have come back yet. To do another sample, she will have to raise another $500.

I just came across this site, scanned it quickly, I thought it may be helpful in further understanding of the situation. From what I've read, there is no need for alarm at all. Rest easy, if it becomes a concern or a "REAL" health threat, it'll be well publicised. I advise everyone to avoid those facebook fantasies and "lead in" stories on the evening news that end up empty. Cheers!

This under the heading: "I didn't say you were at fault. I said I was going to blame you."?
