I'm thinking of heading that way this weekend and maybe trying it for some bass and crappie at some of the ponds since it's warmed up some for the week. Either that or I might head up to Moses Lake.

Oddly enough, Rotary and Myron have been the best so far. I would have said 4 and 6 had there been no testing. That will change daily for a while, till they settle a bit. I just pond hop early on. If one doesn't work, hit the next.

I went to Rotary today and fished there for a couple hours. No crappie or bass, ended up catching 3 trout fishing for warmwater fish and lost 3 other fish, I'm guessing they were trout. I stopped by Buena Pond on the way home and fished it for about 20-30 minutes in one spot, got nothing. It was my first time fishing it and a lot of spots were taken by trout fishermen so I didn't want to walk around and fish.

Being from Toppenish, if you have a res permit, the ponds nearby are usually much better than those off the res. Less pressure. I have boycotted the permits, but before I did, those ponds were really productive, with large fish.

The former Graham Morris gravel pits for one. Then it's ponds off of 22, and darn near every little puddle out there. If it's half an acre or more, it probably has fish in it. Google Satelite is your friend!

Went to pond 7 on Wednesday for the first time ever. No crappie, just bass, got a nice two and a half pounder. Didnt get to explore the whole pond but I think I'll be back to try it. An old timer I saw down at the parking lot gave some hints of some other spots. I tried pond 4 and 5 a couple weeks ago too with no crappie to show. Caught two bass on pond 5. I might try pond 4 tomorrow morning for a little, I need the crappie skunk off.

Looking to hit Myron in a few days for crappie, perch, and bass. Any suggestions on what to use, where to fish, what to look for? Never tried out Myron, but I've seen pictures of some very nice fish from there.

Yeah I just parked off 52 and walked back along the highway. There are people that just get dropped off by the pond and they walk through the fence and get picked up.

Finally found a mess of crappie over 10 inches. We have been catching tons at around 6". Early, Early morning seems to be the best time. Take some tick repellant, had a couple on me yesterday. Gotta fight the ticks to get to the crappie!

I was having that problem on pond 4. I haven't caught any bigger fish this year. They've all been one or two year fish. One of the other ponds I've been doing decent for 9-11 inch crappie. Probably going to fish that pond when I drive back to Kennewick and keep a few. I need some crappie guts for catfish bait for next weekends trip to Lyons ferry and some fish to make.

I was reading the reports from the I-82 ponds. Sounded real good till I saw the reprts were from 2007. LOL Anyone been hitting the ponds? Any good recommendations for now. Im going to Yakima tomorrow. I would like to fish somewhere nice. I'll stop at Thrall road lake on the way home.

There are reports listed under I-82 ponds 1-7 separately and also listed just as I-82 ponds, there should be plenty of more recent reports.

They aren't bad, sometimes they are kinda dirty and crowded.
