Finally set up my tying station

I was playing around last night and came up with these, who knows if they will catch anything lol

Good start, playing with the materials. I would ask around at the local fly shops and see what's selling, really what the guides are using. Look them up on the internet, lots of instructional videos and step by steps and start tying away.
If you want to make any money at it, I suggest saving up for a powered vice. A friend of mines mother raised him and his brothers by tying flies. She would tie hundreds in a day.

yeah I need a better vice, mine is just a cheapy and doesnt hold the hooks well unless I really crank it down. gonna save up for one of those $150 ones that you can rotate and doesnt require as much hand strength to tighten lol

not sure if I have seen one called a powered vice.....

Nope, powered with an electric motor and a foot switch, when you get in the grove they will cut your time way down per piece. My friends mom was unbelievable to watch, she tied the flys in lots of 100.

got any links to where I can price them? Im pretty sure it would be a long way off. I am unable to take out even small business loans, and dont really want to.
