We have an RV spot at Sequim for the first ten days of the season so we will fish that area for a couple days and then trailer the boat to Sekiu and Neah Bay day by day. Depending on the weather we may try LaPush one day.

Pretty good on the Columbia right now. Fished three days last week with an old buddy that lives in Columbia City Oregon, his boat, launched at Goble. Fished K14's in 14-15 FOW in the Kalama area. Not fast but there are fish there. Not counting drivebys I had 7 on, landed 4, one was wild.... kept three hatchery fish, 12, 14 and 21. Barbless siwash K14's means a lot of drivebys don't stick and you will lose fish even if they stick. My buddy was 3 for 7, including one wild. Other boats about the same. Best to pick a day with a strong outgoing tide to work the gear, wobblers work too. For a Washington boat, launch at Kalama and just head downstream and look for the boats. Fish 12-20 FOW near the bank.

I do have two resers at CQ July and early August. If I had my rathers I would rather live near the C, but kids, grandkids, wife etc pretty much means I'm in Seattle to stay.
