Thought I would post this for all.
My Baker Trailer has these thin wafer bunks, not sure they can get the straps under the boat so I have been planning on running it down to find out when I am not planning to fish (cause it would suck to get down there ready, willing and able to fish and have to go to another launch). So I got off work last night, hooked up the boat and ran down to Edmonds to find out. Got there and they were CLOSED. I thought they were open until 7pm - well not anymore.
IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING PORT OF EDMONDS OPERATIONAL HOURS:
Due to unexpected circumstances, the Port of Edmonds will be reducing its hours starting August 19, 2014. We usually try to maintain longer hours at the very least until September 15th each year. However, this year we had several seasonal employees who pursued other opportunities sooner than expected. This unfortunately affects our ability to remain open 13 hours a day/7 days a week. So we will be reducing our hours on Monday thru Thursday starting August 19, 2014 as shown below. Our existing team members will be working overtime to maintain longer hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday’s as long as possible. In addition, we will extend our hours on September 6, 2014 for the Edmonds Coho Derby, and be open at 5:00 AM.

That's dumb. Edmonds is like 5 minutes from me. That was way to convenient for them I guess.

We were talking while we were out trolling for shakers last Saturday and wondering what it would cost for overnight mooring. That way you could fish the evening bite, and then get an early start the next day.
Of course we forgot to ask when we got off the water

If I'm reading it correctly is $1.25 per foot per day plus $10 if you make a reservation--cheaper than an additional launch for me!

yes, I seem to recall the moorage was pretty reasonable.

I've used their overnight moorage frequently during Coho season. 30$ ain't a bad deal to be right at the fishing. Fills up pretty quick on the weekends though, and be prepared to raft to others, and be rafted to. Rafting is encouraged down there. If you're planning to leave at o-dark-30 its probably a good idea to raft onto someone on the outside, that way you don't tie up to the dock and come back in the morning to find yourself blocked in by someone sleeping in that morning.
