Rainier / Bings
I went to Yakima to go to the farms and see what there was. Cherries at the fruit stands were more then in Seattle supermarkets. I talked with a guy that said picking them on your own were .85 a lb. It was so easy picking cherries. They were at chest high . Two of us picked 25 lbs in less then 45 mins. I heard that the Naches area was also good. We picked near Toppenish.

Was it .85 for the Rainier when picking your own? I can see bings being .85. The Rainer Cherries are 5.99 in the grocery store.

We went back and picked 20 #s of bings and 25 #s Rainiers. It makes the gas worth while plus come home with trout for dinner.
