We havent been out yet so I have the same questions. Im not holding my breath though. South sound hasnt been hot in a long time, but maybe with everyone being kept off the last few weeks it will help.

We have fished Evans a few times in the past - after striking out at the usual spots around the clay banks, Dalco, etc, but never have even had a bite. Usually its been late in the day and we are too tired to worry much about tides :)

Gotta watch ur tides! If it's coming in fish dalco and that area over there or evans, if it's going out hit the banks up on the other side.

Think of ma11 like a big river and your on the right track.

I've been seeing promising reports on Facebook....

And I'll leave it at that.

I'm done w Facebook now that I have to authorize an app listening to my mic 24/7 for ad targeting to open messages. If it weren't for photos I'd delete my account.

Report in the paper today sounded like only resident fish are being caught, unless spawning kings are 5-7lbs this year...

Looking at the creel reports for Gig Harbor and Pt Defiance the last few days its actually not horrible.

Over the weekend, 164 anglers caught a total of 28 chinook. Thats one fish for every 6 fishermen for two days of effort. Thats actually not all that bad for area 11 :)

No clue what sizes are being caught but there are a few fish out there.

Or another way to look at it - 94 boats fished for 2 days and averaged .29 fish per boat or one boat out of every three caught a fish :)

Creel reports look decent on days when dummys aren't crowding the docks... boats @100$/day make getting out an issue right now. This salmon itch is getting at me already bass ain't cuttin it
