Hey guys, I am heading to Hanford Reach for fishing from 9/25 - 9/27. It's going to be my first time here as well so I was hoping to pick your brains yet again.
First, are there any particular areas/holes that you guys like? Do you do more fishing around white bluffs or above or below Vernita Bridge? I would love coordinates or hole names, but I get that you might not want to reveal your secret salmon hole so I will take anything I can get. :D
Second, what are your preferred methods here? It seems like there are several methods being used. Fast trolling, back trolling, drifting. What do you think is most effective? What kind of speed are you guys looking for? Are you running bottom or somewhere a little higher?
Third, what gear setups and bait do you guys prefer here? Divers, lead, down riggers? real cut plugs, Brad's cut plugs, Super baits?
As always, thank you for the info ahead of time.

Ive never fished that area but you can check all the reports posted over the last few years by going to the Rivers/Columbia River menu at the top of the page. You will want areas 9, 10 and 11 I think.

Bottom bounce eggs or lead with flashers and super baits. Any area from ringold to priest Rapids could hold lots of fish. What your looking for is deep pockets of water where fish will hold, need depth finder for that. Nothing to complicated

We also did a couple nice videos with guide sponsors last year, Don Talbot and Capt. Dave, check those videos out. They have some techniques and areas outlined.
